This was my 3rd lightning to 3,5mm adapter. It lasted about 1 week before I lost this one too. 2 months later I found it, inside the pocket of a jacket that had just been washed. After it had dried up, I inspected it and found nothing out of the ordinary. It worked just as it had done before. Great adapter, but a bit pricey for something you lose after a week or 2.
