I modded mine to get really short delays (less than ms), didn't work right at first, but then I got a reply from Dieter Doepfer himself 😁
I did what he wrote me, and now it works exactly as I want it to.
In case anyone else decides to change the timing caps - first note that this *voids warranty*, so if you're not experienced with electronics, don't mess with it.
I used 330nF for C2 and 100nf for C5.
This is what Dieter Doepfer wrote me:
"If the value of capacitor C2 (10u) is reduced too much the first unit (delay) does no longer trigger the second unit because the pulse becomes too short. An additional resistor at the trigger input of the second unit (pin 8 of the NE556) to GND will help to solve this problem (1M should work, we tested it with C2=470nF). In addition the resistor R4 can be increase from 220 Ohm to 1k. R4 defines the shortest time and is in series with the potentiometer."
