I wanted to get a case for all my microphones, 58 57 bass mic etc. and some accessoires.
When I opened the box and noticed that this inlay only works for microphones like 58 or with a big "head" i got dissapointed. the inlay is so high you get a lot of empty space you cannot really use. if you drop a 57 in the inlay you'll have to take everything out and shake the box to try to get it out and it can take some time. not what you want to do with your microphones. It seems great if you want to store many vocal mics. I have to put my 57s or pen mics in the accessoire side of it, so yeah, not really what I was going for.
maybe they should add to the description that it is not suited for a certain variety of mics. a Bass mic doesnt fit properly, some instrument mics too, so you'll need extra cases for them or pack them in this little side box...
Other than that, the case seems sturdy and safe. I'm not afraid of letting some rain fall on it or packing it in the car with a bunch of stuff.

maybe someone has an idea how i can modify this case so that it fits for sm 57 too. that'd be great.
