I bought a couple of these when I decided to make my own patchbays both for live rig and for my studio setup.
Does precisely what it needs to do; use M3 rack screws to fit a 19"-rack backplate with the powercon or XLR-plugs of your choice, fit with optional multicolor Neutrik labeling sheets, and color-coordinate those with optional coding rings for your Neutrik plugs. Pristine rigs for the win!
These are a bit pricy for what it is – and for my personal taste. Color labels, coding rings, adapters set me quite a bit of money. But I don't think there is an equally effective alternative out there, so this is THE way to go.

Worth their weight in gold

For the price, I went out on a limb and ordered a load, including spares. I wish I'd ordered more.
These blanking playes fit your standard D-Type panel mount for rack units, and work really well with Neutrik MFD (212960) and appropriate M3 Screws. If you require an odd number of D-Type sockets and can only use 4/8/12/24 hole rack panels, these are invaluable with blocking up those little holes in a secure and sturdy manner.

Nice finishing touch
thelxman 29.10.2014
Finishes off an install with a nice looking blanking plate.
The moulding on the front is actually a large Neutric "N" swoop rather than the mostly-flat-small-N mould shown in the product picture on this site. It's a nice professional touch.
Does not include screws/nuts so remember to buy black M3's separately.
