Fantastic value for money

Everyone knows the classic Shure SM57s and SM58s, with such a characteristic sound and incredible performance. This bundle combines the tried and true SM58 with a reasonably good quality stand and a usable microphone cable.

The microphone stand is stable and doesn't introduce much unnecessary noise, and the quality is good enough for home studio use. It's probably not rugged enough for touring or stage work, but you couldn't expect that for the price.

The included cable doesn't come with great connectors, and one included with mine had a dry-joint and required resoldering to repair.

Despite this small issue, you absolutely cannot beat the price point of this kit.

Excellent bundle

Great bundle with basic things you need for the vocals. Microphone is a legend itself and absolutely universal — it perfectly suits for growling and screaming, for example. The cable's quality is very good too — neutrik connectors are reliable enough for concert and studio work. And the stand is heavy and durable. No need to think about it at the time of performing — it stands as you set it.

This mic is gold! Is good for the stage and also in the studio, multi purpose mic does a great job with the singing, recording vocals or instruments, podcasting etc. Amazing durable product you will have it for years.

What can you say?

Needed a no nonsense mic for occasional vocals, and with the SM58... what can you say? The price is right, there's every good reason for its reputation, and it suits my voice. Perhaps a little low on output, but with a decent pre-amp and for live settings, that's minor.
The cable's quality is good - long enough for most applications, and not too long for most of the others.
As for the stand, I sometimes miss an extendable boom - but since I play keys, and need a good reach anyway, the bundle is quite a sweet deal.
