Technical Data:
The Stairville Show Bar TriLED 18x3W RGB is an LED floodlight that is perfect for applications requiring decorative and colourful effects. Its LEDs can be activated individually in order to create chaser sequences, and the number of automatic programmes that are already on board is very large compared to other similar models and includes slow and fast sequences that can be matched to the beat of the music being played in the room or independent of it, in addition to which both bright, bold colours and subtle pastel shades can be blended together from the RGB LEDs. A selection of optional diffusion features are also available. The bar is relatively long and operates very quietly since it is not equipped with a fan. Last but not least, the Stairville Show Bar TriLED 18x3W RGB can be installed and set up in a variety of different ways.
The Stairville Show Bar TriLED 18x3W RGB's versatility also extends to the range of installation options that are possible. A particularly noteworthy feature in this regard is the movable carriage for flexible wall and ceiling installation. The bar's sturdy metal housing has a total length of 1.1m and contains 18 RGB LEDs with a power rating of 3W each. The 23° beam angle can also be widened to 30° or 60°, or narrowed to as little as 10° using the optional filters. The LEDs can be controlled using the four buttons and the display on the back of the housing or via DMX, with the latter option providing a choice of seven modes that range from two to a full 54 channels.
The colourful lighting effects that can be created with the Stairville Show Bar TriLED 18x3W RGB are ideal for creating the right atmosphere in restaurants, bars, theatres, clubs, and of course in exhibition spaces. The slidable carriage mentioned above will prove particularly helpful if the Stairville Show Bar needs to be retrofitted as part of the existing deco in a bar or dining area, and users can take advantage of the fact that the LEDs can be controlled individually to programme distinctive chaser effects that they can store and then recall every night. A tranquil atmosphere can also be created in galleries and showrooms by means of single-coloured background lighting effects with adjustable transition times. And last but not least, multiple units can also be interconnected via master-slave mode for enhanced lighting effects on stage entrances and walls.
Since it was introduced in 1994, Thomann’s in-house brand Stairville has been a permanent fixture in the store’s product range. The brand primarily focuses on the field of stage lighting in general, and its products include spotlights, moving lights, and theatre lighting as well as smoke machines, electronic control systems, and every other accessory you can think of. Thomann constantly has around 1,600 Stairville products on offer, and the figures speak for themselves: Statistically, one in every fifteen Thomann customers owns at least one Stairville product. Incidentally, the name “Stairville” is also a catchy English translation of “Treppendorf”, the town that Thomann calls home.
A play reading at the theatre generally requires decorative lighting that can provide a range of different effects, and this can be easily achieved by placing the required number of Stairville Show Bar TriLED 18x3W RGB units at the base of the backdrop and side curtains using the brackets that are included in the scope of delivery. The rear side of the housing features a power output socket in IEC format, allowing the user to interconnect multiple units without needing a dedicated mains connection for each one, and the fanless design of the Show Bar will of course ensure that the quiet atmosphere of the auditorium is not disturbed. Interconnection in a DMX chain takes place in the same way, so all the user then needs is a lighting desk and they have the full range of colours and effects at their disposal.
