For many years I used standard sized 1mm picks and they were great but I started hearing from all over the internet that many pros use jazz III pics so I got one to try it out. To be honest, they felt really weird first but when I got used to them, I couldn't use anything else. The main thing about these is that because they are small, you can not really change much how you hold your pic and it makes your playing consistent. The grip also helps alot although I have never played these pics without the grip. These pics are fat but the sharp tip compensates it so it can have a nice quick release if you want to. It is very versatile. But the thing is, these are just pics and they are not super durable. So if you get used to these, just buy a hundred of them and be happy.
