Wanted to replace the stock tube in the Behringer VT999 overdrive, as I had heard it really improved the sound. The result was not great at all, low output, really bad sound quality.
Finally used another tube and it sounded great. I don't know if I had a defective unit or if all the tubes sound that bad in the VT999
