What you'd expect from a cheaper bass
Fule 24.02.2022
I'm a novice bass player and was looking for an affordable entry level instrument. The order was okay and the package came quickly.

Upon opening the package, I immediately saw a few nicks on the finish of the guitar and a couple of the screws for the pickguard were screwed in diagonally and slightly warped the edges of the pickguard. It looked as though it had been slightly used, or the quality control wasn't good enough. However, for such a low cost product, I thought it was acceptable and I would try to fix these little problems myself. After testing the sound of the bass, and the volume controls, I decided to peel off the protective layer off of the pickguard. To do that, I had to carefully remove all the knobs and slightly unscrew the pots. One of the pots broke during the procedure but I managed to open it up and fix it temporarily. The bass also wasn't setup properly, but that was to be expected.
On to the good things: the body isn't heavy, the sound is very good, the fretboard is nice, I didn't cut my fingers on any of the fret ends and if you're not looking for flaws carefully, the guitar is very pretty.

To summarize, you get what you pay for - there's a reason why the Fenders cost a lot more. I will replace the knobs with higher quality ones before more of them break and I suggest all buyers of this product to do that as well.

Overall, I'm satisfied, but it's sad seeing these tiny bad details (obviously made in the final stages of production) spoil the general impression as the look, feel and sound of the guitar are very good, especially for the price point.
