It makes a bit of noise which you can ignore but its definitely not suited for a recording environment.

If you are building a serious pedal board, you might want something a bit better quality, but it came with loads of cables and connectors and it hasn't blown up yet so I would say its a good cheap option if your budget is tight

Do the job, but I don't know for how long.

I bought this with the thomann vouchers that I saved up. Thought that there is nothing to lose.
It works, but there is this really annoying high pitched noise when pedals are on and off. The place where power cable attaches you can see the insides of this box cause the cable has come out a bit.
Sometimes for some power output sockets there is no power going trough, and you have to jerk the socket till you find the right spot.
I put it on my pedalboard so I don't move it, but when I have the money, i will buy a real thing.

Good investement

I needed a good powerbank for my pedals, and this one works effertlessly, it was also uper easy to put up.

Much recomended for the price!! BUT it can tend to cause the amp to feed a bit, so try to put it a couple of diameters away from the amp.

Fewer, low amp pedals = The Jr. If not, get the Powerplant 'Senior'
Anonymous 10.02.2017
Ordered a while ago, built pretty solid, so far it works pretty well with no hum or otherwise unwanted noise, enough cables to hook up 5 pedals and then some. Thomann were even kind enough to ship an adapter with it for UK plugs! This is ideal for someone getting into using multiple pedals or setting up their first board. My one and only gripe with it however is that each output is only capable of pumping out 120ma, which although is alright for smaller, digital pedals; you're gonna struggle with anything bigger than say a Digitech ( avg. 300ma) or Analogue pedal (Varies).

A great wee thing, but in hindsight I personally would've spent the extra few bob on it's big brother.

Not as good as it's big brother

This is a handy little unit but due to it's compact size, it does feel a little flimsy. I have two PowerPlants and they are super units. This does work fine but I only use it as a backup or in case of emergencies.

Basic Power

It is a power supply!
Gives power to most basic standard pedals in the world.
(5 times 9v dc negative tip)
I would higly recommend this device to every home guitarist even if you have only two pedals. No hussling with batteries or single power supplies and power spitter and chords.
This thing simplifies things.
Good choise for a small pedal bag because its small itself. Comes with a good set of output cables.
Low price.

good smaller supply for rehearsal but not more.
Anonymous 23.03.2016
It was good for a month but than the trouble started with 1 of the inputs, started to buzz. Supply is very dependable on the pedals you use, i suggest buying voodoo lab or mxr brick, its worth the money if you want people to hear your guitar properly. But if you wanna punk out in the garage it will do the job and if the drummer is good you wont hear the buzzing.

Good bang for the buck

Not a bad price-performance ratio, but very limited. At the top of its output range it's dirty, and makes certain pedals produce a lot of noise. But if you need to power 3 or up to 4 pedals, it's hard to beat. Another very good Thomann own label product.
