Good well padded but light case with only minor issues

This is a pretty decent case with which I'm pretty pleased. I work in London and regularly have to take my valuable instrument on trains and tubes. So I need a good case that is well padded and strongly built. The padding is close to 30mm deep and the outer material feels like it could withstand a bit of rain and a decent bit of use. I feel like the bass won't get damaged going through doors etc in this case. There are a good number of handles that are well placed, feel sturdy and comfortable to hold. The shoulder strap is in such a position that it sits nicely on the shoulder and the back pack straps are placed well for the instrument to sit nicely on your back. Most of the clasps for the straps are solid and well sewn in. The only major downside is that the back pack straps have a plastic clasp on them similar, but larger, to the kind found on the lid of a normal back pack for quick release opening. I don't understand why they are there as there is nowhere (that I have found) for the straps to be put away. I am worried that these plastic clasps could fail one day with the instrument on your back. I will be adding my own extra protection to avoid this but really when spending money on these items this isn't the best situation. The only other downside of this case is that the zip doesn't go all the way to the top of the case so it's not so straightforward getting the instrument all zipped up.
For the money you pay for this case you get quite good value, a lot of features and a seemingly well built case. Time will tell on the quality and durability of the case but for now I am pleased and could recommend it barring one or two issues.
