This thing is huge. And its got a vintage vibe to it aesthetically (not that you can see it once its fitted).
The Strat I put it in now again sounds like it should, but I changed all the pots and switches at the same time. I'm not deeply convinced that capacitors sound different for any reason other than they are of different capacitance.
But this one sounds good, looks good, was easy enough to install, and all for a very fair price.

Jazz bass upgradable.
Robert487 05.08.2019
Gutted out my Squier Jazz Bass and stuck this orange drop in for the upgrade.
Now the transition through tone is alot smoother and even which has been a fantastic addition.
For the price i don't understand why Fender don't fit these as standard.
Anyway well worth the cheap expense for tone controls that actually do something useable.

Very fair quality

Great quality and tone on my guitar. The only thing to bear in mind is that this is a big capacitor. Consider the space available in your pots cavity before buying.

I put this in a friends mystery 70's strat that had been in a fire and not played in decades. It sounds good nice tone roll off, though I'm not an expert on capacitors. Pretty sure this is a classic just google it

Orange Drop
Sharpo 27.12.2020
I bought this to use in the tone circuit of a Strat style guitar.
It is quite large compared to the cap I replaced, a tight squeeze under the pickguard so a bit of planning was required to fit it in.
I didn't do a before and after comparison.

low volume... but full tone
Nickwolf 29.06.2018
This works great and the difference can be perceived at low volumes as well. I like to play with the volume know... like a volume pedal. and this capacitor makes the variation only for the volume... no change in quality... meaning the tone doesn't vary. very cheap improvement for my Telecaster.

Boutique upgrade for your tube amp
Rehebeam 04.08.2022
Put this in my Fender Champ. It will rock your socks off - juicier, fuller in comparison to the original no-name one. Then again, I replaced a few caps in one go - so who knows what had the biggest impact.

Huge Capacitor!
Kyouki_IE 07.12.2020
Good quality capacitor, but keep in mind they are pretty big. Like around 2cm long, a lot bigger than I expected.

Caps make a huge difference although they’re usually overlooked. Make no mistake - TAD makes top quality product and swapping the stock cap in my Jazzmaster with this one left a mark.
