I bought this bridge as a replacement for my Fender 62 Tele. Unfortunately the height of the bridge is much greater than mine and the string action become too high. So I've decided to use saddles only. They are compensated and my tuning become much better.
Anyway, this is a very good option to replacement old bridge on your vintage tele. Just check the height of your old bridge before. =)
