I recently ordered an ABM Roller Bridge for one of my other guitars and was so impressed that I ordered a set of these for my Tele.
I already have compensated brass saddles fitted, but they are the more common ones with the offset machined flats, which work well but start to sound like a sitar when they wear. It's easy to see why this happens: a groove wears into the soft brass where the string passes over it, causing the string to cut into the edge and then sit on the machined flat. Next thing is a sitar-like buzz.
These saddles are designed differently: just a very simple groove cut into the brass barrel - one for each string - exactly where required for proper intonation. Ingenious! Plus, they also have the benefit of looking exactly like original vintage saddles from anything other than inches away.
Easy to fit, great-looking, great-sounding. Highly recommended.
