No noise w Guitar/Audio Interface any longer
Berci 18.08.2019
I have a basic 1st gen Focusrite Scarlett interface with a guitar plugged into it. For ages I couldn't understand why some people on YouTube have managed to get good tones with various Amp Sims, my setup was just too noisy and fuzzy. I've tried with a DI Box, took care of clipping, nothing helped. I've installed this power conditioner and boom, the noise was gone. And I'm not talking about placebo effect: my girlfriend instantly noticed the difference without me giving her heads up. It's day and night.

In a nutshell: if you're living in an old building with shitty electricity, have a guitar and you'd like to use it with an audio interface only, you need to buy this thing.

Great PC for your project studio or gig
Radney 29.10.2021
So I got to the point where I got a few outboard preamps and compressors. Everything hooked up directly into the mains outlet, plus the computer, the monitors and the console... You can imagine that's a quite noisy setup. It was time to finally get a power conditioner. Since I am not doing live gigs, I thought I don't need the ones with lamps on the front and the voltage meter display. Enter the Adam Hall AHPCS10. No bells and whistles just everything you need for smooth, noiseless operation and protection of your gear. They say the power conditioner is the least exciting piece of gear in your studio (absolutely true), but it's necessary. So, this particular PC may not have a lot of features, but it does exactly what you expected. No more EMI noise, and crackles from my speakers. The great thing is that it comes with 4 IEC cables included, so you don't have to spend extra money on them. Overall build and quality are excellent. I am very happy with this purchase and I expect to use it for many years to come.

Power for the rack
VXTfour 21.02.2018
I use this to power the following devices:

- Power distributor (to power the pedalboard)
- Lexicon reverb
- Engl e840
- Engl e530
- Peavey Rockmaster

It is a super solid little 1u device that has 8 three pin connectors on the back to power your devices. There is also one on the front which is handy!

The power cable is not attached to the device which in my opinion is great as you may need to replace it due to wear or accidental crushing by heavy equipment xD Or even if you take it abroad, just plug a local power cable in and done.

It comes with a few power cables in the box so you can get started strait away. They are quite long so if you are powering devices in a rack, they are easily long enough.

It is currently doing it's job and I have nothing to moan about

Expensive 9 unit socket with very minimal real filtration
Maximoff 14.05.2021
Looks good, works average, real functionality - poor.

There is only one throttle inside and several capacitors. This principal schematics is able to filtrate minimum of noises. It's almost the same with cheap domestic filters with sockets.

This is not bad device, but it don't worth its money I think.

It is the electrical heart of the studio. I connected my best quality and expensive devices to it. I am very satisfied. If you want to send healthy electricity to your devices, it is a price / performance product that you can choose with peace of mind.

TP
Simple and effective
The Professor 06.05.2020
This is a simple, sensible way to handle power distribution for a rack. In a bid to do away with a rats' nest of cabling, I installed one of these in the base of each of my 19" rack bays, and spent a happy afternoon carefully looming power cables down to the power conditioner and audio cables up to the mixing desk area, keeping the two sets as separate as possible The AHPCS10 does require you to either rewire to IEC, or buy IEC leads; but it keeps things very tidy and packs a lot of outputs into a small space. The conditioning element is really useful, since the mains current in my building can be spiky and noisy; with this in line, I'm reassured that the pricier synths are protected and will function well. All in all it's a simple, unobtrusive little piece of kit that does its job well.

Does it job of powering multiple units, but it doesn't eliminate ground loop hum problems. Had to sell it.

Solid option for the price
Iccapod 30.06.2020
I'm using this to power some external pre-amps and some computer equipment.

It's easy to use, includes a number of cables and is a sturdy solid piece. Easy to see when it's left on too with the giant orange button on the front. The front facing outlet is really useful too as I sometimes pull out the odd piece I wouldn't use everyday (tape machine, synth etc) and pop it on my desk and there's a power outlet right there. Kudos to whomever thought of that.

I've had no issues with surges etc. I'm in a new build and the power seems to be very good anyway. I bought this as an extra precaution for some of my vintage gear. To be able to turn it all on and off with one switch is helpful too.

I've very little negative to say. It does exactly what I expected and exactly what it mentioned it would do. I've had no issue with it at all.
