I have a small band which is supported now and then with live a track coming from Logic or MainStage. When recording in Logic, it's essential to have a descent remote control to start, stop rewind, record etc. The Quad 500 serves as a 'keyboard' on which you can assign any key to any pedal. You place the unit wherever you want (it's wireless) so no hassle with extra cables on the floor. The pedals don't have a 'click' but are sturdy and responsive. The manager software, which is available for smartphone, tablet and desktop gives you endless possibilities to setup your unit. I'll have to experiment further because I only scratched the surface of this marvel. Very fine product and a must have for serious digital music making!
