Don't use cheap batteries with it!

If you use cheap batteries that don't last long in general, the bodypack will eat them up in half an hour! Get some quality (Eneloop!) batteries and save yourself a lot of grief. The unit works flawlessly, the signal is clear with very good reproduction. A bit of compression seems to be going on, but tonewise things remain the same. Works great with guitar and saxophone, gets rid of all your cable-tied worries.

After 12 years, my initial AKG wireless system finally gave up. As I could not find a new transmitter, I just ordered the renewed version of my old buddy. Did not let me down since I bought. The fact that you can use a AA Battery adds to the many benefits this item has to offer!
