Me and the bassist from our band ordered this and ISM3 product, and we have to say it's an awesome piece of wireless for the money.

Pro's:
- Batteries last extremely long
- It takes only one batery to power the transmiter.
- The transmiter is small.
- The price is awesome.

Con's:
- I wish you could set the frequencies.
- I miss the ability to install receiver inside rack.
- There could be an XLR out.

Overall I think you can't go wrong with this. For the on stage use and to use it around 1 - 15 metres, you can't beat the price/quality equation. If anything went wrong with my current one, I would definetly buy another.

Really good mic. Maintains connection and battery life is amazing. One AA battery for over 5 gigs and counting.

Downside is it needs a little eq for voice and can be tricky with feedbacks

Cheap is not always bad

I bought it as it was on sale and I had a large stage gig ahead of me with my main band.
It's really really easy to use, the battery doesn't run out too fast, and it has a relatively long reach before any latency starts to appear (20m or so).
I'm very satisfied with it and would definetly recommend it and buy it again if the current one should fail.

great unit, no interference issues and no range issues. battery lasts forever. one issue is that if you are rack mounting, you might have to get creative due to the units size tho if not, the size has its advantages, something to think about. i would and i have advised people to buy this product and i would buy it again without thinking about it too much.

au début on se dit que cela doit etre un petit gadget... i devient vite indispensable, entre concert, repet et juste pour sois même, un vrai bijou comparé a celui que mon ami a acheté, il n'y a pas photo, ça vaut le détour!

I bought akg wms 40 mini for guitarist player in our band.. For the budget, this is a perfect choice. The sound is good, wireless has long battery life, there are no dropouts.. The only con is that it has fixed requency, but if there is not many other wireless equipement this will not be a problem.. I recomend buying akg mini wireless.

I recently got this wireless system and tried it for bass. It works with lower tunings (At least down to A).
The system, however is a bit noisy (the rating reflects this). Overall not a bad choice for that budget.

(update) It broke after 2 years of use, which is to be expected for the price, it's still a good option for those small stages where you can easily get tangled up in cables. Also if you are considering to buy this know that it can pickup other wireless units, which can interfere with your sound. My overall rating is a bit harsh maybe especially at this price point, but it reflects the overall quality of the product, even though it is cheap.

Bought this system to mic up speech makers at a wedding and it did the job fine.
Only negative comment is that the wind shield fell off the mic too easily and got lost.

Unbearable noisy. Maybe Faulty.

At the time of plugging in (my Bass) I already noticed a little fuss on my clean sound. Then, I tried to move while playing. It sounded like a very inexpensive faulty cable.
