I do play the guitar since years, but I never got in touch with playing the blues. I am not a very good musician, but I love to play music. I am not able to read music from sheets and I do not have the time to practice regularly or to take lessons in a music school. Therefore I was looking for a way to learn how to play the blues by using a book and using this book is really working out for me. I can practice whenever I am able to do so and the lessons are really step by step. It is not necessary to be able to read music from sheet. The lessons are written in music sheet as well as in TAB. The book comes with a CD. Every lesson is explained on that CD. I am using this CD in my car in order to prepare for the coming up lessons. I also put a copy of the CD on my BOSS BR-80 wich I usually use for practicing. In the book you find some more background information (well known songs based on the actual lesson for example), even though it is not necessary for learning to play the blues it would be nice to find some more facts about the history of blues music, musicians and instruments.
The book is written in german language and the instructions on the CD are in german language as well. I guess it is necessary to understand german to use this book, but probably the CD could be used without.
