The Ape Coin has always been a great versatile compact light that is surprisingly powerful for it's size. I love the new warm whites and all the associated pastel colours that are achievable now.
But there is a subtle change in the programming I have noticed when compared with the original V1. I have Ape stick XL in warm white which can perfectly match any static colours produced by the Ape Coin V2, however the problem comes when you start running fade or sound modes, they now gradually go out of sequence with each other, this doesn't happen with my Ape Labs V1 lighting.
Also I have noticed that the original Music Mode that is such a wonderful effect on the V1 lights has changed and doesn't look half as good on the V2 lights where they just flash very fast incoherently almost like a strobe, the structured flashing to different beats and frequencies has now gone.
