Game changer

To be fair, this is my first mini LED, but this thing is a game changer! By itself the range of color and temperatures it has is mind blowing but it is the Sidus Links app that takes this mini LED panel to a whole new level. Matching a light source and white balance is a pain I'll never have to endure again, with the Sidus app you can simply take a picture with your phone and the MC will replicate it perfectly, same with colors and light effects. I've had it for two weeks now and I'm still discovering new things to do in the app. For indie filmakers this is a must as it allows for very low-key and compact effect sources.

Fantastic very versatile great powerful light and changes colour and can be controlled by a smart phone application.
Love this and the magnet is strong . So Happy with this purchase and backed by Thomann fantastic customer aftersales.

Great small rgb light with a ton of features

This is the first small rgb light I bought after some super cheap 10 watt led panels. Really happy with battery life to be able to run it for 2 hours at max brightness. the app is super useful and a big reason why I went with aputure, as I expand my lighting kit it will be likely aputure lights from now on so I can control everything from the app. built in effects are useful if you're filming short films. pretty bright for its size so I can stick it in places I couldn't put anything else and get enough light for some cool effects or to use as a practical in frame. and comes with a nice pouch to keep it and diffuser. might recommend getting a hotshoe mount for it to stick it on your camera when needed in a pinch. if you need more light output from basically the same light then aputure has the mc pro coming soon but that costs almost 3x this one.

Great little video light

Ease of use means a lot when doing audio/video production and having to manage every technical aspect and setting up single handed.
Mostly I just need a little accent/ambience to performance videos, and this little light is so convenient and feature rich.
The little diffuser it comes with is really great too, and the little bag is nice for if packing up gear to bring.
It's not super bright, but it's more than bright enough for most situations I use it.
Great product.

Excellent light for quick projects and more

I have been using this light in customer premises, in small and quick projects. Kind of talking head shoots. I have found this light really usefull for my needs.

Light is smalla and works long enought through internal battery.

I have also used this as a video meeting light at home office.

This light can be used in various situations, i use it mostly as a background light that imitates lamps or even tvs. I will probably buy even more in the future!

I love these little lights

I have had a pair of these lights for two years now, and they have been used for everything from product shots, splashes of light in the background of a wide shot, faking a flame effect in an advert for a patio heater, key light for skin tones, hair light for portraits, interior light for car shots, you name it, these lights have done it! The sidus app is very good, I have captured organic flickering from candles and flames to use in the app, plus TV effects, sunlight through palm trees and loads more.

Superb Value for money LED light!

I use this light for my youtube videos as my Key light for now (as I don't have a stronger light for now).

Light is not the highest in class in terms of output but for the size and prize it's very good! It also has a lot of features (with the Sidus app)! My favorite is the color picker feature. It's so easy to use. I also enjoy a lot the different built in effects. This light is also RGB and has very high color accuracy! It's very portable and has strong magnets on the back! The diffuser that came in with the package also is very helpful.

The only con that I can think of is I don't have enough of it!

Surprised a bit by the high price for a Chinese brand but the quality is excellent, the brightness is good and the functions are just 3 and really easy to use
