Aquarian 08" Performance II Clear

I didn't appreciate how much of an improvement decent heads could make. I already had a set of these on my pearl fx kit for a few years and had gotten used to them. But tuning up a fresh new set on some of thomann/milennium cheap toms they sound great.
I'm sure they would sound even better on a £1000+ kit too. but from my experience of trying to get something okay out of some very cheap toms these sound great. Especially paired with aquarian classic clears for resonant heads.

The double ply gets a good deep punchy sound without much overtones which is exactly the sound i wanted.

My only gripe is thomann doesnt stock them in 6" otherwise i would have definitely replaced the heads on my four milennium octobans. though they do have the performance 2 with a dot.
