ART TubeMix

I brought this unit to plug my Synths and samplers into my DAW, while keeping some kind of physical control over levels, sends etc. The interface is class compliant so is plug and play straight out the box with no need for drivers etc (for me atleast).

The unit itself is a good weight and solid design. Eveything is clearly labelled and well layed out. The build quality is top notch with no corners cut. (Id have used knobs with a slight more premium feel, but the current ones arn't bad enough to warrent marking them down)

Due to buying this for use with Analogue synths, I thought the Valves would be the jewel in the crown, but the difference (to me atleast) was massive. Only 2 of the channels use the valves, the rest are regular signal paths (one does have Hi-Z).

Overall quality unit, 4 stars on the sound isn't as much as a mark down as it is me just saying its good rather then the analogue warmth blowing my socks off.
