The first test I did with this EQ, as I do with any EQ, is leave all the sliders in neutral position and see if it changes the sound. It failed this test miserably and the sliders needed to be adjusted quite a bit to achieve a neutral sound when the pedal was engaged.
In addition to that, the paint finish is easily scratched, and the slider knobs detach with ease.
Not recommended.

Poorly Built, Unreliable
Thomald_Matt 27.04.2024
Despite the chassis itself being well built, the tips on the faders chip off very quickly with regular use. The unit is noisy in operation and has a tendency to scream with feedback if the barrel jack comes even slightly loose (learned the hard way on stage). The footswitch is cheap and sticky.

Very buzzy

it is quite a powerful EQ and could function as a boost if the level were maxed. But the construction is pretty lightweight, the underside isn't rubberized and there is a noticeable hiss in use. I used a shared daisy chain power supply so it may be from that. But it didn't work for me. It does have a very useable set of frequencies though, great for boosting at 1.4k for a djenty sound like Meshuggah etc. the sliders stick a bit in the middle, so you know where your mid point is but they dont light up as some more expensive EQ units do.
