It's a strange instrument. On one hand, its features offer way more than it can be expected from a such a low-cost device, on the other the missing precision in the execution of the design prohibits its use in serious music making.
From a recorder player standpoint, the Re.corder takes much more air than expected for a soprano recorder after which it is modelled. Even the setting in the app dealing with the issue allows switching from really-a-lot-of-air to just a-lot-of-air. It's obviously aimed at players of other woodwind instruments. Re.corder shares a more unfortunate feature of classical recorders, though. While recorders clog with condensation build-up in their windways, the Re.corder sensors at tone holes stop working (short circuit?) after playing too wet for too long.
Another interesting feature is the response to missed fingering. While an acoustic recorder produces a weird tone, Re.corder remains silent (in the digital mode).
All in all, it's worth the cost, but can't wholeheartedly recommend it.
