Good, with a few cons
JoniT 11.03.2023
I chose these because of their battery and because they have all the features I wanted to have or try out, like hear-through and noise cancellation.

I'm only a few days in with these, so take some of this with a grain of salt, as some of this might be the "honeymoon-phase". They are a bit uncomfortable after long wearing periods, but usually it takes a bit of time for my ears to get used to any headphones, and they aren't horribly uncomfortable, so I'm pretty confident they'll soon be unnoticeable. (I'm also pretty easy to please on this point)

First time using headphones that have no wires at all, so I'm a bit worried about them falling out, but a few headbanging tests show that it is at least unlikely. While trying out which ear tip fit the most securely I noticed that switching out the ear tips was a bit hard and annoying.

Pros:
- Very Long battery life (for the headphones)
- Long battery life (for the case)
- Sound quality, loud and quiet are good.
- Easy to use
- Plenty of features
- Customizable options
- Hear through is perfect quality, pretty much 99% the same as if I took them off.
- Pretty quick to switch between devices (computer to phone)
- Each earbud can function just by it self.

Cons:
- The button presses are a bit slow. Like pausing takes a bit of time to actually pause.
- Bluetooth connectivity can be lost when your hands block them, but this is a common issue with headphones. However there was no issue with wearing a helmet/hat.
- Build quality is a bit cheap because it is plastic.
- Will not pause automatically when removed from ears.
- Will not pause while quick hear-through is enabled, but it will lower the volume by a lot.

Mixed:
- Noise cancellation is not very strong, personally I prefer very strong blockage, but lower cancellation is safer and more convenient for when other people are trying to talk to you. I'm comparing the noise cancellation to Bose Quiet comfort 35 series 2, which have pretty good noise cancellation.
- Can get plenty loud when you want them to be, without distorting, so be careful with your hearing. Once lost it wont ever come back and tinnitus is terrible.

Conclusion: I'm happy with my purchase and hope they will last a long time.

excelent product

It's just pretty much perfect.

I've had a bunch of wireless in-ears in a past from beats to airpods and cambridge audio but they all had either battery or sound or comfort issues.

ATH-CKS50TW excels in all of those aspects

Excellent Earphones

I have bigger ears and these fit me perfectly. The noise cancelling is great for the price (you can still here chatter, road noise etc. but it is greatly dimmed), and the battery lasts forever.
