A nice microphone that exceded expectations

I bought this microphone based on opinions of contacts I trust, but I'd never before knowingly heard any Audix microphones in action.
The mic was clipped to the vicars vestments about a hand span from his chin and the sound was nice and clear without being too harsh.
The clip itself is a very firm spring that holds well. The windshield seems fine so far though I often find these are one of the first things to suffer in use.
I would certainly consider Audix for future microphone purchases.
