The blanket is pretty thick and offers good protection. Quality feels pretty good and fits perfectly in my Bam case.

My violin case (bought elsewhere) came without a violin blanket so I have made do for many years without one. I recently decided to purchase a blanket as extra protection for my violin but could not source one in the UK. Having dealt with Thomann in the past, I checked their site and found the BAM blanket at a reasonable price. It has the traditional silky feel on one side, and cushion-like material on the other, and it fits neatly over the whole violin. Black is an excellent 'neutral' colour for a retro fit. I would prefer not to have the BAM logo prominently displayed but otherwise I am very pleased with the product and can recommend it.
Whilst I had to pay significant postage costs to the UK, it was reassuring to find that Thomann could supply me from their considerably varied stock.
