The Behringer B1 Mic. is reasonable value for the price and for serious recording, it would be better to consider a higher end unit. It has a very thin sound quality, and is a “too airy high end Mic”, ideal for quickie recordings and to travel with because it's fairly cheap, well built and has a strong case. It does a nicer job on the guitar than on vocals but it certainly does okay on those too, certainly nothing that cant be dealt with by the EQ. during mix, or with an front processor. With the processing equipment around today you can probably make a wet noodle sound good. Useful for recording a demo or something like that, but it’s a bit too bright and lacks depth, more suited to Home Studio not for professional use, but does do well with instruments!
