Sadly, this has not lived up to Behringer standards. It's super tempremental and often struggles to tune certain strings on a bass guitar. It also struggles with acoustic instruments without really good electronics. I can see what they've tried to do - but it's at a slightly plastic-y price. I ordered two so I haven't got a dud one...they are both a bit crap. Shame, because I love Behringer...i'm an advocate for them...this just hasn't done it. Functionally it looks good and can do a few things - however, the price is too good to be true I'm afraid.

Had to send back
Max48 22.01.2014
Another thing i had to send back but Thomann Customer service sorted it out very quickly and were very efficient. The Tuner pedal s great and works very well it lights up enough so you can see it on stage and tunes everything !!

Behringer TU300 (Review)
Miguel5269 24.01.2014
Since I can remember I always wanted to have a tuner. Even for those who can tune by ear, a tuner is always the right solution.
As I began to play live a portable tuner was not enough. I needed a pedal. I discovered this "Behringer TU300" and I decided to do what should have done the lot.
Until now it has been my great friend on stage.
Not the best, but it has everything I need.

Fine for quitar, not so much for bass
Anonymous 22.07.2014
I found this tuner couldn't handle the low B of my 5 string bass very well. Many of my basses have a high output signal too and it struggled a little there.
It's fine for guitar, however the plastic screen got damaged after three gigs where a BOSS TU-2 lasted hundreds on the same pedal board and bag.

Far from being really good but enough for amateur gigging.
JoséRoberto 19.01.2014
I used one of these with both bass and guitar. It suited me well for like a year or so. Although it's plastic, it is sturdy enough to take hard gigging, but after one year always on the road it started to be noisier and sometimes the jack input was failing and cutting the signal off so I ended up selling it to a friend who would use it mostly at home. It's a nice pedal if you're not gigging too much :)

Reasonable tuner
Anonymous 14.08.2014
This tuner works pretty good, and would probably be fine for most use if it was a bit sturdier made. It feels plastic and I wouldnt use it excessevly on stage. But for the money, it is quite nice.

This is a fairly basic tuner. It does what it's supposed to. However, sometimes it's very inaccurate for some reason. Not sure if it's defect or not. But it doesn't bother too much since it rarely happens and it's generous pricetag.

Great value and does the job. More suited to guitar than bass as it sometimes has difficulty detecting very low notes.

To be honest, this is the poor man's pedal tuner, it ain't a Boss TU-3, but it sure doesn't cost half as much and get's the job pretty much done. I recommend it for whoever is building their first pedalboard.
