beyerdynamic EDT 770 V Ear Pads

Beyerdynamic's DT770 PRO is my favorites headphones and I've been using them for 7 years now and I'm happy with them.
Since earpads are part of the headphones (I consider them as a consumable material), it is important to have high-quality earpads for long-term work in headphones, these earpads gave it!

Pros:
They are soft, velor, fit tightly and softly on the ears, I spend 10 hours a day in these headphones and my ears do not get tired, but my ears, working 10 hours a day, tend to dry out...(this will be happen by using any earpads)

Minuses?:
They need to be changed from time to time ... it depends on your finances, who are not stingy are recommended to change 2 times a year to keep the ears clean.

And those who do not consider this to be a consumable material, then at least once every 1-2 years they must be changed, otherwise they simply lose their density property and turn yellow from the dirt that accumulates over so many years of work in them. (not counting wiping with a damp napkin)

Do I recommend buying these for my ears?
Yes! They will need to be replaced at least a year or two after purchasing the headphones.

To appreciate good music, with accurate soundstage, you generally need a comfortable seat, isn't it? So comfortable that you will forget about it and concentrate on the listening experience. Well, to listen music with headphones you also need high quality ear pads since they are crucial components of the complete listening experience: aside the comfort, which is obviously essential, they can give you also better sound.

The DT770 ear pads are not cheap, but they fit perfectly my inexpensive HD-660 adding excellent comfort to an already impressive product. I find this bundle to be a remarkable way to have it all at an affordable price.

I have DT770's for nearly 10 years now, and I'm not going to change those headphones anytime soon, because I believe they are perfect ones for my needs, and I'm used very much to their sound. This is my first time to change the ear pads after many years of almost everyday use, and many washing cycles, the old ones got too soft and squishy, and the headphones where pressing directly on my ears, which resulted in decreased comfort during long studio sessions, and false sound picture.
So I'm very pleased with installing the new pads, and there was clearly noticeable positive change the between the way they sounded before, and how they sound now.
So make sure you change them as often as possible, or if you feel they are getting worn out.
Don't be like me and change your ear pads much often, it is one of those little things that you don't realize the difference they make, until you replace them with new.
They come in pair with the spongy membranes that sit over the drivers itself.
