beyerdynamic EDT 1770D Ear Pads

I actually am using these for a pair of Beyerdynamic T70 since the stock pads on the T70 are simply horrible. I've read in a few places that the leatherette DT1770 pads will work like a charm and they really do!
It's amazing how suddenly the bass is punchy (but not overly) and quite well rounded now, not to mention how nicely it is articulated.
The soaring highs that pop normally on the T70s at 4khz and 7khz are no longer cutting in the ears, they just smoothly glide away.
I do have to say that it was VERY difficult to put these on, it's a super tight fit with these headphones but I managed nevertheless. You would have to use like a stiff plastic or smoothly rounded metal lever to make the edges of the pads close on the rim of the headphones.
Comfort wise and sound isolation wise I cannot complain, they are doing a magnificent job and they feel really good on the ears.
