Bought these for the convenience of application and clean look. Use mainly to minimise volume in some band rehearsal and practice situations. The effect of the mass applied when in use decreases pitch of drums while maintaining some tone equally across the kit. If this is your thing I would recommend.

I bought a set of these a while ago and they haven't left my kit or snare since which speaks for itself. Tonally these will make your snare or toms sound a lot warmer and deeper (they have worked particularly well on my Tama Star Classic 16" floor tom). An easy fix for eliminating unwanted sustain in the right situations when recording too. Love them.
