Good but could be better (for musicians)

I must say I use this system for my live gig with guitar (Taylor) and voice. The sound of the guitar amplified is good only until you hit the middle point of the volume range, after that the sound gets very artificial and looses its acoustic quality, too bad. The selective switch for guitar work maybe for electric guitar but not for acoustic one - the sounds gets very high pitched and artificial again.
If I would use these speakers for parties and dancing I would give them 5 stars (I do though miss the EQ control on the input music channel). For my usage I would give them 3 stars but because of the lack of comparable better products I gave them 4 stars.

It's amazingly powerful and handy, but cracks at max volume level

I bought it as a little guitar and mic amp. Plus, I also use it as a bluetooth speaker. It does all of this pretty well and the treble, bass and reverb allow you to create your wished for sound. It would be even cooler if the bluetooth input could be modified similarly, but it can not. The mic is significantly less amplified as the guitar, which implicates that you cannot play your guitar very loudly and at the same time hear your voice properly. For my way of usage, this is a minor issue.
Also works perfectly for karaoke's!! Though, when a song with a deep bass is put too loud, it starts to crack a little.
Overall a lovely thing

A very good multi purpose mini PA. The sound is good compared to its size and it is easy to transport. The battery holds power for a good amount of time.

Very handy, interesting sound

We are starting to work with the speaker, its handy and not heavy. I was expecting a better sound, comparing with other Bose systems. A bluetooth would be appreciated, once we sometimes work at the street and not using cables can be a advantage.

Sounds great, very simple

It's clearly designed for those who perhaps have no prior experience with pro PA gear. Plug in a mic/guitar, turn it up, done. No master volume, simple one-knob reverb (which sounds great), simple EQ controls... Surprisingly loud, especially for something powered by battery. Used for small coffee bar gigs and busking on the streets, and does the job well. Great amp, get two for stereo!

Small but powerful

Nice and crisp sound with amble sound to cover an audience of 50 people. I bought the bundle pack with Stand. I liked both of it. Quality sound and nicely built stand.

Great product, excellent sound , the compact design and the correct weight turn on party time and fun everywhere you need, really!
I know Bose high level quality sound, but especially in internal use, the S1Pro exceeded my expectation!
The only important aspect missing, is a more efficient eq control: I would reccomend Bose Team to develop a dedicated equalizer app, for a full control from the tablet.

product great but battery life not as advertised

Just waiting to see how the problem gets sorted. Supposed to get 11 hrs but only getting 2 to 3 hrs. To be fair just reported problem.
