Excellent volume reduction!
TrEr 30.08.2017
I got this hoping that I could practise at home in my apartment without bothering the neighbors.

The volume reduction is very impressive and seems to be reasonably even across the range of the instrument. It does affect intonation and the feel of the instrument a little but less than I feared.

To be honest it isn't particularly fun to play with but at least it makes it possible for me to practise at home, something I can not do at full volume. I guess it's probably as good as it gets for practise mutes (I've tried another practise mute from a different brand that was a LOT worse).

The build quality seems ok. It's plastic but unless it's severely abused it should be fine.

Conclusion: Not a lot of fun but works as advertised. Highly recommended if you MUST practise at home (or in hotel rooms, etc.). Just don't expect it to sound amazing.

Light and in tune
Jonathan5131 03.08.2017
I carry this mute for every gig that I have. It speeds up my warm up time. Just by playing some long notes, flexibilities and tonguing exercises before I start brings my lips in shape for the gig. It is easy to carry around and cheaper than other good mutes on the market. If you do not have space available to carry it in your gig bag, make sure you do not leave it behind you. I'm sure you'll regret that :)

Very good!

Very realistic airflow with a huge reduction of the volume.
All the partial on the instrument are pretty in tune.
If your TV is on it will probably be louder than your practice.

A really good buy.
Just my opinion.

Beautiful mute, it gives you what you need - silent practice.
Anonymous 12.01.2017
For long time I was searching for a practice mute. I am living on 4th floor surrounded by neighbours.

This mute gave me opportunity to practice in my apartment without thinking about bothering my neighbours.

Solid build, great, silent sound, good air compression, not hard to play, great intonation - these are things I am satisfied with. It came in great package with no chance of wrecking.

For this amount of money, I can't think of any other/better practice mute for my bone.

Happy to get it and I can tell everyone - this is the real thing.
