I use this amp in my studio for reamping guitars and sometimes for band rehearsals. I also own an Engl savage 120 and I have to say that the sound coming out of Bugera is similar to that of the savage with the former having better low end response, something that was obvious when I reamped the same signal using the same setup (cabinet, mics etc). Moreover, the Bugera amp doesn't "feel" robust, many chinese parts and although the design is very good it "looks" somewhat cheap. If I had to take an amp out on the road for gigs I wouldn't take this amp, I don't think it could handle it very well, that is why it stays in the studio for reamping, and this, it does well. The power tubes are nice, but didn't like the preamp tube, but that's what a tube amp is like, you have to experiment with different tubes. It is versatile with it's 3 band EQ per channel and I like the XL switch assigned at the crunch and lead channel. For the price tag, it is a good deal, but handle it with care.
