I don't have a lot of experience with amps, but this one for me is well worth the cost. I use it on gigs because IEMs just aren't enough for me. It is very loud, though I doubt you'll get the 1000 watts promised. You should think of this amp as more of a 300-500 watt one. It is plenty loud for gigs, though.
The one handle installed, in my opinion, isn't enough. I would recommend that you install two more on the sides.
Plenty of features on this amp. There's the mute button, -15db button for active electronics, compression button and knob (very useful for have). It has 3 band eq and frequency knob for mids, but my favorite is ultra low and ultra high buttons, for boosting low and high frequencies. Ultra low really makes the bass feel more powerful. It has DI output (useful for PA systems), send and return effects and RCA in if you're going to use it as a sort of monitor.
One feature I'd like to have on the amp is headphones output which is missing here.
Regarding the quality, it feels very well made. There are LEDs for every button and knobs are very sensitive.
The amp can get very loud, though the sound is very specific. You can tinker with the sound, but it's just one 15 inch speaker. The sounds fits me, but I think it won't fit everyone so try it before you buy.
All in all, perfect amp for gigs. Not too heavy to cary, fits in my trunk, can angle it upwards, still has more than enough power.
