Watched countless demos on YouTube and they sounded all amazing. When I tested the pedal I wasn't that impressed. It's got plenty of gain, but it always sounds with way too much trebel in my opinion, making the sound thin and borderline annoying. I didn't use it as part of my regular set up but have it rather as a backup pedal or something to use at the studio, in case I need to find other sounds. This opinion might be subjective, so I'd suggest you try it out at least!

All i can say is that it did not suit my vintage Marshall JMP 50
as well as the 3 button version. This was too smooth and lacked
bite and low end i was sorry i sold my original plexitone to buy this
it may suit a fender style amp thats too bright sounding
it did do a good jcm800 tone through
my JMP 50 but my original plexitone sounded like a cranked Plexi
and as the name imply's that's what i was looking for in a smaller box
Carl Martin should voice the small plexitone like the original plexitone
why mess with a winning formula Marshall did that already and ???????
thats why we are here tweaking pedals
if Carl Martin feel like donating an original plexitone
to my just and noble cause (cause i love them)
that would be Wonderful
