I purchased this pedal for my Casio CT-S300 because it did not come with a sustain pedal. Since keyboard is not my primary instrument, I did not want to spend a fortune on its accessory. I was looking for something affordable, relatively durable (for using at home), and easy to press (I have noticed that plastic pedals like this are easier to press than the larger metal ones). Also, I chose an original Casio product because I knew that the polarity of the plug could vary depending on the manufacturer (and I wanted to avoid rewiring a plug). This pedal is exactly that: affordable, durable (the plastic it is made of is light yet looks to be shatter-resistant) and easy to press. Ingeniously, it has a large textured rubber pad on the bottom, reducing (if not eliminating) slippage during use. The non-removable cable is rather thin, yet it seems to be more than tough enough for the task (surprisingly, it is rated for 300 V!). The plug at the end of it is plastic, but it is unexpectedly nicely molded and takes up very little space, so you can push your keyboard very close to the wall without it getting in the way. Knowing Casio's reputation, I am not the least bit surprised that it is such a nice, well-priced item. I have owned a lot of their products (including two keyboards and a handful of watches), and all of them have been great. Highly recommended!
