The TG-1 Limiter represents the rebirth of the legendary EMI TG12413 limiter, an integral part of the EMI's own Abbey Road mixing consoles of the late 60s. The EMI TG12413 Limiter is one of the very rare examples of analog signal processing since it was never available for purchase and was only reserved for EMI's own studios. The TG-equipment has been used in many major productions, such as "Abbey Road" by the Beatles, "Darkside of the Moon" by Pink Floyd, or by Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones. The Chandler TG-1 is completely discreetly circuit-switched with transformer-balanced inputs and outputs. The control element is a rarely used diode circuit which is distinguished by soft, pleasant distortion products. The warm, open sound with a special clarity in the range of high frequencies is often compared by the fans with the Fairchild 670
