I use this short cable to connect my guitar mic (a t.bone SC.140) directly to my mixer (a Xenyx QX1832).
Connectors are quite good taking into account that de-insertion of XLRs is rarely an easy story.
Quality of the cable if fair and at least enough for such length.
No noise or sound coloration has been observed since that cable has been put to use.
