how many "experimental" devices now share the ubiquitous mini-jack connector, after the surge in popularity of contemporary modular synths in euro-rack format! much as I respect it, for having allowed the synth industry to survive, then bloom, i can't say it's my type of ideal connector, far from it! too small, too delicate, too tricky to solder... can't find much love, sorry.
but this Y-Cable can make any final link in the chain at least safely usable, to reach the input of a small mixing console or an audio interface (which, to date, fortunately don't have yet mini-jacks).
it's really a well-made item, both the cable and connectors are of professional quality, good looking, and pleasant to handle.
i've owned more than one of these, and the only fault i can find for these is, anyone on a stage or rehearsal room or production environment seems to like these, which is the only reason for repeating my purchase, because not one of mine ever failed to work (while so many failed to return home with me and my devices).
if you plan to use these, please mind a word of advice: before going for a drink or a nib after the show / performance / event or whatnot, take the cable with you! for a very sane reason, i've never been robbed of one before the show was over, all those that are not with me anymore were stolen to me after the gig.
