I ordered 10m of this for use as guitar cable but the loss of signal makes it not fit for purpose! I tried cutting into short 3m length cables to no effect - the signal is extremely weak and sounded terrible (Gibson Les Paul and Boogie gear) Do not order this for guitar cable - order something with far greater diameter core!

Conductive insulation material
SoundMan101 11.12.2024
I got really confused by the resistance readings, because it was showing around 4k ohms between ground and signal. Turns out there are 2 layers of insulation around the signal core. The outter black layer is somewhat conductive so you have to cut it a little bit further than the white one. This also explains the low signal reviews.

It's just a cable
madmusician 08.12.2019
It's an ordinary cable that does the job in it's price range. The cable's cross-section should already tell you that it's not intended for long connections. I bought it for short pedalboard connections and it's more than fine.

Poor cable especially for guitar
Christopher144 13.10.2016
I bought this cable to make a few short 3 meter guitar cables, the loss of tone and volume with this cable is terrible the worst I have heard.. I used good quality neutrik connectors making these cables, initially I thought I made a poor solder joint but no.
Even with stronger line level singals there will be some loss.
Definitely not recommended

A greta Budget cable for patch leads
Anonymous 10.02.2015
I used this cable to make up some great quality Patch leads. The cable sounds great in this usage your signal remains clear and strong with a no perceived loss of high end. The cable is very easy to work. it cuts up easily and can be prepared for soldering easily.
The dielectric and insulation are of high quality and the outer sheath is thick but malleable, allowing you to bend the cable in a tight radius- perfect for patch cable use. I also built this cable into a few guitar leads and found it to be great in this configuration too.

Nice

This cable I wouldn't call "the best", but it does the job. It does transmit the signal, but I have other cables that transmit it louder. I use these cables to connect my Line 6 HD500 to a mixer and it does the job well and clearly. As an instrument cable, it seems to lack volume.

Love Cordial Cables
celsofcoelho 24.07.2017
Love Cordial cables, they have quality and are very durable.
Use this cables in most of my instruments, and will use for very long years. I don't see any noise or crackles coming from them, they are very solid and flexible.
Very happy with my purchase, will buy again for sure.
