It's a pure standard I guess. Bought it because its the cheapest to buy, since it's whole roll. Bought 200m (2 rolls), and made 18 cables so far, (out of connectors for now...), all made within a day because the iron soldering is easy, it sticks to the cable right away, and also, they're just perfectly flexible, and long lasting. My co-partner has the same cable (purple though) about a year and a half now, and I'm not sure if more than 2 out of 40 has been repaired so far... I guess it's fair enough to buy it, and they have completely zero noise level so no need for extra expensive cables...
