Cordial CPD 2 FM

The Cordial CPD2FM is made from good quality cable - it is easy to coil and does not kink, which is very important. The cable is terminated in Neutrik connectors, which is another reason I purchased this lead. The cables are easy to repair without tools as the connectors simply unscrew.

I did need to take one apart to swap the connectors to make a phase-changer cable, and I found that the Neutrik connectors are very very tightly screwed together, so I actually did need some tools to twist them apart, but better to be too tight than too lose and flimsy.

These cables are still performing well for me after a number of years.

As you'd expect from Cordial, the quality of this cable is great. The jacks are made by Neutrik (another European company known for its quality) and are of a comparatively high standard. They look and feel like they will last a long time. I only wish the cable was a little bit more flexible but I guess it would be difficult to make it flexible and durable at the same time... I have used it for recording and haven't noticed any noise or interferences that often plague less expensive, insufficiently shielded cables. Only time will tell how well it will hold up but so far, I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
