Can't mix two signals into one.

I tried using this cable to mix two line output signals into a single line input but it doesn't really work: sound is distorted and all over the place.
So NO, it can't act as a line mixer.
However, for connecting two headphones to a single output it's ok.
I can't fault the cable though: it's well built and does what it was meant to do, but it should be specified in the description.
