This product works, but does change the characteristics of the cymbal somewhat.

My band mates couldn't hear a huge change in volume, but I think that I could. Less ringing in the ear at the end of the night at least!

Takes out lots of the sustain. Although I did go for the maximum sizes to try to kill as much volume a possible.

The product itself is very well made and should last longer than felts... Although these are doing a different job...

Worth a go if excessive volume is bringing you down.

Useful tool to control the volume and the sustain of any cymbal. But honestly, I don't see any reason to use the big ones (above 60). Way too much choke. Otherwise, the quality is excellent, so... it is up to you.
