I’ve tested all three sets through on my Taylor acoustic dreadnought, and I must admit that I don’t understand the high ratings at Thomann.

The low E-string of all three sets resonated very uneven. The A-string and the D-string sounded okay. But 1st, 2nd and 3rd string had a sound I can only describe as fizzling and somewhat unpleasant.

These strings are probably okay, if you use a pick for all your playing styles. I play acoustic in all sorts of ways: strumming, picking, hitting the strings with my flat hand – usually combining these techniques. So, perhaps, I just have to have a thicker set of strings for my style.

Great sound but short life

Super sounding strings with a nice feel to them. Too bad they wear out so quickly. I wore out a set in a couple of days playing only acoustic, so I moved on from them quite quickly.
