Daddario XLB145 Bass XL Single String

Daddario are qwesome strings
I've used this on two basses: 34" and 35.5" (multiscale) both tuned to G# standard.
On the 34" it was a bit floppy, but on the 35.5" it has the perfect tension.
Be careful when using such thick string as it may not be suitable for some bridges. Also the string may be too short for extra long scale basses, just as the packaging says - long scale (34").

Nice bright string, heavy enough for drop tunings. I use it with my ibanez SR305EB-WK, it fits perfectly without issues.

My main strings for recording have been the D'addario 45-105 nickel 4 string set. But for my Prog drop tuned band I needed something beefy for the 34 inch scale. All I can say I was blown away by how tight and clear it sounds in Drop A all the way down to Low F!
