Great Strings, Great price
Free From Gravity 21.08.2014
I have used D'Addario strings now for years. Every now and again I get convinced by other guitarists to try another brand (Ernie Ball, Martin, Fender, Roto Sound etc) but none provide me with the same tone as these boys do.

The Phosphor Bronze wound strings for acoustic guitar have a clear but mellow tone to them. The may be cheap but don't be put off by the price (they're a damn sight more expensive in off line music stores).

They have a clear bottom end and not to bright top end, but give a lovely deep, rich mellow sound and are easy to play.

I would choose D'Addarios every time and Ive yet to find a guitar string to better them - even the more expensive ones dont do it for me.

Filling up for free delivery

I bought a few things and it was free delivery over a certain amount spent so I added these to the order to make up the total.
I like DAddario strings so it was an easy choice.
Good quality product you can trust. Recommended.

Daddario EZ900

These strings sound excellent and bright for the 3 first hours you play them. They then very quickly die out and produce a dull and boring sound that's just not pleasing. It's a shame they die out so quickly, otherwise they would be very good. But what can you expect? After all they are Daddario's cheapest acoustic strings.

Rich tone
Anonymous 10.08.2014
These strings are very sturdy and well built, they can definitely take a beating. They have a rich, warm tone without being too muddy on the low end or too twangy on the high end. They provide a great tension for standard tuning and any closely-related alternate tunings such as Drop D, open E or D standard etc... however I often like to tune my guitar to odd tunings so I find that a normal set of guitar strings don't provide the right balanced tension for me. However for standard tuning and similar I cannot recommend these strings enough, wonderful tone and feel all round.

Made a Switch

I used to use Silk & Steel for my Gretsch dobro and loved the sound. But then, I couldn't find Silk & Steel and tried these instead. Ended up making the switch to an even better sound, and for significantly less per pack.

Strings Apart
Anthony933 14.11.2014
I have to say I am very impressed with these as my 'go to' strings are normally Elixir Nanoweb Light or Customs lights. My Takamine sounds superb, slightly brighter than than the Elixirs. They have lasted well too. Whilst I practice often, sometimes 1-2 hours a day with a wipe down immediately after, these strings have played well for many weeks. They are slightly cheaper than than the Elixirs making them an excellent choice for regular playing time. No problem giving these strings the highest recommendation.

excellent all rounders

Great sounding strings, use them on my dreadnought and get a nice, full tone, without installing a set of 'cables' like the heavy strings that came installed when I bought the guitar.

Don't last long
Marshall363 19.09.2014
I really love daddario strings for electric guitar, i use them for about 10 years, but don't know why, i really don't like the sound and tone from them on my acoustic guitar. They don't have that sparkle and they don't last long. I choose cheaper Martin ones ...they sound great.
